As czar, oh, the changes I would make!

Those folks aren't supposed to see themselves as celebrities and act bigger than the sport itself. That's right, Jeff Hammond and Allen Bestwick, you aren't as popular as you think you are. And I'm not sure where to start when it comes to Darrell Waltrip. How about this — retire "Boogity Boogity Boogity! Let's Go Racing Boys!" We've heard it for years now and I thoroughly believe we're all tired of it.n Enough already: It's time for the ever-annoying Michael Waltrip — the guy who has won only four races in 689 starts — to take a step back and be quiet for a while. Yes, we know NAPA sponsors his car. Yes, we know UPS sponsors a car he owns. And yes, we're all equally sick of the Aaron's Dream Machine and those hideous commercials with the Waltrip brothers. For God's sake, let Darrell drive the dang Dream Machine and move on!n Enough already II: We all know that race cars are sponsored, but let's tone it down a notch when thanking high-dollar backers.

Choose Your Illusion

While there are hefty kernels of truth rattling around throughout, the film does some Olympian stretching in its ambitious game of connect-the-dots. And as might be expected, it is rife with inaccuracies and dubious scholarship from start to finish, as several critics have pointed out. Yet at its best, Zeitgeist is a flashy, riveting piece of renegade agitprop aimed at rousing an increasingly stupefied public to the world crumbling around their computer screens. Eye-catching visuals and a healthy disregard for copyright law make for some engaging segues, featuring voice-overs from countercultural icons like George Carlin, Bill Hicks, and Richard Alpert. We are even treated to highlights of an apoplectic Peter Finch railing against the hypocrisies of our times in Sidney Lumets Network. If its sights are on a mass media, short-attention-span demographic, Zeitgeist has its bases covered.

Stop judging – obesity is about more than gluttony

We need to coach kids early on the difference between what is real sustenance, and what is merely edible. It'd help if, as a society, we get outside the 'one normative diet fits all' box and emphasize that different people need to eat for their specific body types and needs. In the Chinese way of thinking, diet and medicine belong on the same continuum and both need to be customized for the individual.

Lastly, when are we going to do something about the crap they serve kids in most schools? Students still come to class full of cheese fries and 500ml of Pepsi because the items were cheap, appealing, and available. Indifference to school menus could prove expensive for all of us. Sure, sure, it's all been done before, but now I get to do it. Without further ado, here is my all-name team. 20 - Rod Smart - Who the Hell is Rod Smart you ask? Well he is none other than the fool who called himself "He Hate Me" and pretty much epitomized the debacle that was the XFL. 19. Elbert L. "Ickey" Woods - Running back his entire carreer for the Bengals. Hey, how many guys not named Humpty Hump have a dance named after them. The Ickey Shuffle remains high on the all time celebrations list. 18. "Chocolate Thunder" Darryl Dawkins - Perhaps more appropriate for wrestling or porn, but still has a nice ring to it. 17. "Pistol" Pete Maravich - LSU grad was a known practicioner of yoga, a part time ufologist, and could also play a little basketball. Died of a heart attack in 1988 at a young age.

Kylie Minogue honoured with an OBE

Actors Leslie Phillips, known for playing the quintessential Englishman during a more than 50-year-long movie career, and Julie Walters, who has appeared in the Harry Potter films and Educating Rita, were both granted awards.

In sport there was recognition for Brian Ashton, who coached the England rugby union team unexpectedly to the final of this year's World Cup, and the team's fullback Jason Robinson.

Others honoured included world snooker champion John Higgins and former European 5,000 metres champion Brendan Foster.

In the business world, there was a knighthood for Stuart Rose, chief executive of Marks & Spencer, who has turned around the fortunes of the well-known British retailer.

In science, Ian Wilmut, a member of the team that cloned Dolly the sheep in 1997, was also rewarded with a knighthood.

Business column: The irresistibly sweet holiday treat

Are you at the office right now, sneaking a peak at this column, and thinking what to buy your sweetie for Valentine's Day? That's an easy one. Chocolate!

As a self-proclaimed chocoholic, I thought it would be appropriate and timely to do a little research into my favorite food. I cannot live without it. I watch my weight, eat well, stay as fit as possible, and while treadmilling away for at least 45 minutes several times a week, I munch on a handful of dark chocolate-covered dried cherries (made with Belgian chocolate) from Trader Joe's. (Yes, you should find the time in your busy schedules for exercise, but that's another column!) It kind of counteracts the calories I am burning, but who cares? Those dark chocolate dried cherries are a shear delight, and when the heck are they opening up a Trader Joe's in the Hudson Valley anyway? The nearest ones are in Paramus, N.J., or Hartsdale.
